Derek Bailey passed away in London, Christmas Day 2005, from his battle with motor neuron disease. One of the greatest, ever. Since the early 60s he nearly created a wholly singular take, and possibly the root, of improv music and thought. And - he could really rock, too! Hear this one if you haven't before.
